Designing for Kidults
The Internet has transformed our lives in many ways. But did you know that kidults are driving a lot of these changes?

That’s right, this group is not only influencing how we use the web and applications but also impacting how we search for information, make purchase decisions, and ultimately affect the economy.
Who?
It’s important for UX designers to recognize the growing trend of Kidults — adults who have an affinity for things typically associated with children.
Those adults still have a childlike sense of wonder and enthusiasm.
Kidults are increasingly becoming a significant consumer demographic, and as such, they should be considered when designing user interfaces 🤷♂️.
From my personal observation 👀 and research done for many projects I worked with, Kidults spend an average of 4–6 hours per day online, with over 70% using mobile applications on their phones or tablets to access content or shop for products.
